Climax The Climax is the highest point of anything conceived of as growing or developing; or it is the decisive moment in a novel or play. In Moulin Rouge, the climax is the big scene at the end, where Christian comes back to try his last chance at love with Satine. In Moulin Rouge, Christian and Satine’s love for each other is the problem as the Satine was paid off to be with the Duke. So she leaves him and he returns in the climax in the big scene at the end. There Christian tries his last chance at love with Satine. He tries to go backstage and pay her off like the Duke tried to do.
