Diego Hernando December 4, 2007 MUSC-200-532 Isaac Bustos Assignment 3 Both, Rene Izquierdo and Zane Forshee, are great classical guitarist. Izquierdo was born in Cuba, and later moved to the United States where he graduated from Yale University School of Music. Rene has been awarded with many competition prizes and played in concerts throughout the world, whereas Zane has only performed throughout North America. Forshee was born in America and after winning the first prize in the National Guitar Workshop International Solo Guitar Competition he became better known nationally. The performances of Rene and Zane at Texas A&M have differences and similarities in repertoire, dynamics and color, and stage presentation. The repertoire of both, Rene and Zane, included pieces from Scarlatti to Brouwer, but the only piece that both of them played was Sonata K.14 by Domenico Scarlatti. I liked better the repertoire of Rene Izquierdo, even if his choice of pieces were not very diverse. Rene played
