Should the government force people to adhere to a set of standards for parents? i.e. Parents must practice consistency, if they get divorced, the kids have one house and the parents have to move back and forth weekly. Once a parent is divorced, he/she may not get married again until their children are 18. This stops parents from getting married again and forgetting about the first set of children. Or does it? With today's computers and databases, the government can track these parents and implement a response.

Grandma was taking care of the first batch of kids and now she has another set. What does this say about the above proposal to stop remarriage?
