Prosecution’s Closing ArgumentJulymar, Liam, Bridget Good Afternoon ladies and gentlemen of the court, we are gathered here today to see that justice is served for Milan Jackson. Chris archer the defendant, is guilty of first-degree murder, and criminal hazing. Chris Archer had a clear motive for murdering Milan. A strong reputation. Milan went to visit Dean Thomas days before her death with information but could not tell her until Monday. After this incident, Dean Thomas called Chris Archer and threatened if the information was about hazing, the fraternity would be suspended, and Chris would be brought before campus tribunal. Gama has the best record on campus, they have not had a hazing incident recorded in over five years, so a lot was on the line. From that call on, Chris Archer planned a fatal pledge activity for Milan, hoping to get rid of her. Chris Archer framed his plan to kill Milan around her Aunt Tanya’s death. The defense’s witness Dr. Jordan Mitchell stated that Milan’s death was parallel of that to her Aunt Tanya’s suicide.
