Unformatted text preview: University of California San Diego ECE 259A: Final Exam The solutions are due by midnight on Sunday, December 14, 2008. Please bring the solutions to either one of my offices: Room 4107 in the Atkinson Hall or Room 4605 in the EBU-I building. If the door is locked, simply slide the solutions under the door. If submitting after hours, and there is no access to either of the two rooms, go to Room 4708 in the EBU-I building and slide your solutions under that door. It is possible that the front entrance to the EBU-I building will be locked after hours. However, all the side entrances and stairwells are always unlocked, so there is no problem to gain access to the building. You should work on all the problems on this exam by yourself . If you have any questions regarding this exam, you are welcome to consult with me or with the TAs, but not with any other person. You are allowed to use calculators, computers, and any auxiliary material. However, you are required to explicitly state this. Computer programs should not be necessary; however, if you have used a computer program in your solution, please submit both the code and the output with your exam. If you have used a result from the literature, other than the textbook, please provide reference to the source and include complete derivation of the result in your solution....
