Lab Instructor: Moss EET 159 Eric Andrysiak 04/22/09 Lab Report 13 Lab Station 14L Task:   To construct DAC and ADC conversion circuits using IC chips and using these circuits to  convert and reconvert waves from digital to analog (Vice Versa) Projects:  22.4 Digital Voltmeter This circuit acts as a simplistic voltmeter. This circuit takes an analog in voltage and converts it to binary and then outputs that  binary to BCD on 7-segment displays. This circuit’s CS, RD, Vref, Vin, ADNG, DGND and INTR inputs are all tied to ground. It’s  WR input is tied to a 1kHz clock which forces it to update every second. The Vin is  attached to a potentimeter that’s used to fine adjust the circuit. This circuit also has a  VCC. The output of the ADC is run into the DE1 board which is running it’s LED driver  program which outputs the respective numbers on the 7-seg displays. 22.5
