Lab Instructor: Moss EET 159 Eric Andrysiak 2/19/09 Lab Report 6 Lab Station: 14R Counter Designs Using AHDL Task: To design sequential circuits and machines in AHDL that complies to a set of orders in the lab manual Projects: 14A-5 Stepper Motor Sequence Controller This circuit behaves as a basic stepper motor control that you can enable, and change the rotation direction. This circuit has an initial state state, and eight other states. The circuit will either cycle through the states going clockwise/counter clockwise based on a control input and thus rotating the stepper motor clockwise or counter clockwise. There is a clock input, a enable named go, a control input named cw that selects which direction to rotate the motor, and machine outputs that tell the motor what state it should be in its rotation. 14A-6 Variable Frequency Divider This circuit behaves as a variable frequency divider in which you can select to divide an input frequency by 5, 10, 12, or 15. This circuit takes a frequency input and based on a selector named m, chooses to run
