POL 4275 Professor Luxon Spring 2009 Social Sciences 1350 Tu/Th 4:00-5:15pm luxon@umn.edu Peer Review: Final Paper Instructions: Students will evaluate one another’s work during the first portion of the class period on Tuesday, May 5. Students may want to use this worksheet as a way to evaluate their own work, as they work on their final paper. Please note that these comments will contribute to the final grade of your paper. This final paper is due on Monday, May 11 by 3:30pm to Social Sciences 1414. Please use the instructions below to guide your evaluation of your classmate’s paper. Although your advice should never be rude or disrespectful, remember that too much politeness sometimes makes for unclear feedback. In the time allotted, you should be able to work through at least the first four points below. Your primary questions should be: What is the argument of the paper? With what level of nuance and persuasion is it developed? Please write your comments directly on the rough draft; lengthier feedback should be typed and attached to the end of the paper.
