Summary: Three students formed a team in their Business and Sustainability class. They are working on a class project about emerging renewable energy industry. The challenge for the project is the current formats of energy such as petroleum, coal, natural gas and nuclear are all non-renewable and have detrimental effects on the environment and health of people, they need to find a form of fuel or technology that can mitigate the current negative affects on the environment by petrol-based fuel while utilizing the existing infrastructure. Biodiesel could be an option. Biodiesel fuel has tremendous benefits from economic, environmental and regulatory points of view compared with conventional diesel fuel. Finally the students presented a compelling business Biodiesel Incorporated, which based on local producer’s cooperatives. Questions: 1.
