2 Global Citizenship Global citizenship is based on the community and the person. It proposes a social and political model that respects the dignity of all people, in which every citizen is aware of his or her belonging to a local and global community, actively engages in the construction of a more just and sustainable world, contributing to eradicate injustice and poverty. Global citizens contribute to the creation of active citizenship, which fights inequality through the search for redistribution Power, opportunities and resources. Global Citizenship This term is global citizen is unfamiliar to me, but it does have to do with the reality of each of us today. The global citizen is an active person, who participates and commits himself. A political-cosmopolitan actor that influences the public agenda at all levels: local, regional and global.
