Please remember that it is not designed to condemn you for your use of technology; it is designed to help you become more conscious of your use of electronic means of communication and thus allow you to communicate more thoughtfully. I would also like you to think about how technology has changed communication and thus human relationships. On the first day of this exercise, I challenge you to avoid all electronic communication. You may want to plan the day you will do this so that you can give advance warning to people who may be upset if they can’t reach you.
