2 Lab Safety – Biology 112 Lab 2 – Evidence of Evolution •Goggles and closed-toed shoes are required! •Wear gloves as instructed. •Do not eat or drink in lab. •Clean spills promptly and alert instructor. Follow general safety precautions and use common sense in addition to these guidelines. Ask your TA if there is doubt about any procedure. • Homework: Take a nutrient agar plate home: After exposing the plate, tape it closed. Make sure it is securely taped before bringing it back to class next week.
