Some of the advanced search options in each search engine are file type, language, number of results per page, the option to choose a web site or domain to search in, the option to list words that you do not want shown in the search, and the ability to tell it what words or phrases to use and exactly search for. These search engines offer scholarly search engines, advances search options and the ability to not only search for web sites but for pictures and videos as well. In each search engine I liked the fact that they all had the advances search as well as returning many pages of different sites to help me find what I was looking for. Google on the other hand loaded fast and put the most commonly used websites for that search at the top of the page. I found that Google was the most effective. I say this because not only did it load faster than the other two and it listed the sites better, but it returned the best results for my search. I think it affected the number of results in a large way. When not using the Booleans I obtained more results then what I did when I used the Booleans. From now on when I am doing searches for anything, I am going to limit my use of Booleans and try to rephrase my search to gather the most results as possible....
