Product When our management team started at AllStar our only product was Allround and a lot of our work had already been done for us. You made the product, you put forth the advertising, and you made it a best seller in OTC medicine based on at least two surveys which include: customer satisfaction (S1), actual purchases (S2), and not to mention allround had the overall highest sales revenue. The reason being was because it was geared toward the cold market, which was and still is the market with the highest sales revenue (WXW), but also because it helped all symptoms. Doctors still recommend Allround for patients not only to those with cold symptoms but to cough and allergy sufferers too (WEW). Plus all the finances seemed to be in order; you had a solid stock price and a good number of sales. In other words you knew how to get the product off the shelves and into the consumer’s homes. However our team thought you could do better, at least in the sales and profitability. So we came in and made some changes which increased marketing efficiency, sales, total profits, you name it (PS3 1, PS3 2, PS3 3, )vs. (PS0 1 , PS0 2 , PS0 3 ). Allround seemed to be in the maturity stage in the product life style so were able to assume that the growth rate for the sales was declining.
