Here's a review of what you should know by now. It came up in the context of making dvds. It would be wise to read these instructions to the end before attempting to use them. 1. Set an IN POINT and an OUTPOINT on your timeline. 2. Select SEQUENCE MENU: RENDER ALL: BOTH. Depending on the state of your project, this might be instantaneous, or take tens of minutes. 3. When your project has completely rendered, go to the FILE MENU: EXPORT: QUICKTIME MOVIE. 4. This will bring up a window called SAVE. At the bottom of the window you will see 5 options: SETTING INCLUDE MARKERS Recompress All Frames Make Movie Self-contained For SETTING, choose DV NTSC 48K FOR INCLUDE, choose Audio and Video For MARKERS, choose NONE For Recompress All Frames, be sure the box is NOT checked. For Make Movie Self-contained, CHECK THE BOX to make the movie you are going to export self-contained. 5. Then navigate to the Desktop using the SAVE window. There should be an icon in the window which shows a map of the system; click on desktop. 6. Then enter the following YOURNAME.FINALPROJECT where you
