POL 301 (Leighley) Spring 2008 Exercise #1 (15 points possible) This exercise is worth 15 points and is due on February 12 in class. As noted on the syllabus, assignments turned in on the due date after class will be dropped one-half letter grade, which translates to approximately 0.75 points on fifteen-point exercises. Late exercises will not be accepted. Your answers should be typed in 12-point font, single-spaced and clearly labeled. You may use this word document as a template but that is not necessary. Your answers should also be written using proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. Your name, the class and assignment and date should be included at the top of the first page. Please staple pages together before you come to class. 1. (K&W 1.2; maximum of five sentences; 1 pt.) Identify something in the world that you would like to see happen (normative).
