Todd Stone Org Com Final 1.) This conflict is a classic case of gender conflict within an inter-group conflict. The women do not believe the men are including them in the group mindset and are being excluded from activities. The women in this situation could possibly have an attribution bias in the form of fundamental attribution error in that even though the men may just be wanting to hang out with each other they automatically may think that the men are purposely excluding them. The accounts from the women are clear in that they have allowed these issues to build up and their point is that this is not an isolated event but a recurring theme in their relationship with these men. The proposal or discourse was a source of the conflict because the women thought that it was excluding them when the men just thought it was a more efficient way of working. 2.) I would sit the group down and have everybody explain their sides to the story and tell the men that maybe they should try to include the women more and tell the women that they should not be so fast to jump to conclusions and think that the men were purposely excluding them from their out of work activities and the group at work. I would tell the entire group that they should throw their accounts
