(p. 107) Factors Influencing Atmospheric Pressure ideal gas law – the law that states that pressure of a gas is proportional to its density and temperature (p. 107-108) 2. Explain how atmospheric pressure is related to air density and air temperature. - The denser a gas, the greater its pressure, and vice versa. The warmer a gas, the greater the pressure.
