Karna Upadhyay Conflict/Cooperation WSJ 2/16/03 There are moral grounds for war with Iraq, Blair says On Saturday, Prime Minister Tony Blair backed the US in saying that there are “moral grounds” for a war with Iraq. Although most Britons are opposed to the war, and even most of Blair’s own Labor Party say that war is not necessary, Blair is remaining one of the US’s strongest allies. However, Blair does not believe a war, at the moment, would be prudent; he believes weapons inspectors should be given more time.
