Previously, they had said that only five people had died because of the disease, and only 305 became sick. This article reminds me of one of the theories about how the Mayan civilization declined. That theory is that there was an epidemic disease that forced the masses out of the cities and killed many. Who knows if the SARS disease will lead to the downfall of our civilization because of an epidemic amount of cases. Even though it may not be on the forefront of people minds, 51 dead people is not a small amount....
