In order to compare the efficiency of two antacids, you are given the following solutions: HCl : 2M; NaOH : 0.5M; Phenolphthalein and two Antacids : brand A and brand B. 40ml of NaOH were necessary to neutralize 10 ml of HCl When 5g of antacid A were first added to 10 ml of the acid, 20 ml of NaOH were needed to neutralize the remaining acid. When 2g of the antacid B were added to 10 ml of the acid, 30 ml of NaOH were needed to neutralize the remaining acid.
