Dear Class, As 1st assignment, you are required to attend a symphonic or chamber music concert and write a report about the event. Some suggestions are found in the attachment. You are free to locate and attend an event outside this list, however, bear in mind that it should be an instrumental concert presenting music composed preferably from 18th, 19th or early 20th centuries (no Renaissance music, no Jazz, no Turkish Art Music, no a capella choirs, etc.). You are not obliged to attend a paid event, but consider the level of professionalism if you opt for a free one. Your report should be around 750 to 1000 words, in Arial 11, 1,5 spacing, delivered preferably as a .doc file containing your name (fulyacelikel.doc, for example). Rather than dry

I am uploading some sample reports, you do not have to adopt any of the properties these reports display, just use them as examples. Be sure to acquire and read the concert program. Doing some reading about the works, composers, performers and reception history from the internet while creating the reports will also be of great help.
