Forming At the beginning of the semester where we were to pick a problem and stand in line. This could be our pre-forming stage. Afterwards we exchanged names, phone numbers, and emails. At our first meeting we together worked on what to say in our “Statement of Rights and Responsibilities”. Then we had a group discussion, not about work but about ourselves. This in turn relieved each of us of any nervousness we might have and gave us some level of trust for one another. Afterwards we got straight to business. We discussed on what aspects of our problem would seem logical to try and solve. Also we sorted out jobs for one another to have completed by the next time we would meet. Our groups forming stage seemed almost flawless. Each step of the stage description was easily achieved by our group. We established trust, pin-pointed our main goals, got to know one another, and moved onto the storming stage of group development.
