EAS102 G/H Project Design Proposal Purpose of the proposal: Convince the reader that your approach to the design project is worth supporting. Show that the project has been well thought out and the authors are capable of carrying out the project. Elements that should be in the proposal Demonstrate an understanding of the main objectives and scope of the project. Review necessary background information and results of literature search, self-study, or other preliminary work used to develop the design proposal or that will be used for the design process. Point out any constraints on the design and any issues that will require attention. Outline the proposed design process o Provide examples resulting from brainstorming Outline the proposed analysis to support the design o Provide sample analysis Discuss choice of materials and justification of choices. Discuss any experimentation, trials, or prototypes to be carried out.
