The truss shown below is composed of bars pinned together at points A- I. and supported by a foundation with a pinned connection at A and a track-roller at D. The applied load is P, and the length of each large bar is L (60 degree angles between bars.) (BF, CH less than length L, and EG=GI=L) a. Determine the reaction forces at the foundation. b. Determine the force in bar BF. c. Draw an appropriate free body diagram(s) and write the equations of equilibrium that can be used to solve for the force BG. ( You do not need to solve the equations , but you most show sufficient number of equations that will give a a unique solution to unknown forces introduced in your FBD. (# equations = #unknowns)
