1. Introduction In the first task of this assignment, we were assigned to design a circuit of a camera flash. The basic requirement of the flash is that it has to fire quickly as soon as the switch changes its position. Moreover, we have to decide whether we are going to use a capacitor or an inductor for our circuit design. Task 2 involves designing an RC circuit whose step response fits with the information given. The source is a 1.5 V battery and the resistor used can only be in the range from 1k to 100k. 2. Solution (1) In this design for a camera flash, you would use a 10mH capacitor. This is because, when the switch is in the first position for a long time, it fully charges by the source voltage of 5V, and when the shutter button is pressed, the switch moves positions and the capacitor is quickly discharged through the flash, which acts as a resistor. When the switch moves, it is disconnected from the voltage
