C HEMISTRY 11L R EPORT T EMPLATE EXPT. Thermochemistry 7 Introduction The purpose of this lab is to learn about thermochemistry, illustrate the additivity of heats of reaction, and to define and investigate exothermic and endothermic reactions. The purpose of this lab report is to better inform people of hess’s law and to prove hess’s law experimentally. This is significant because it is learning through experience. Materials and Methods The procedure for this experiment was taken from the Thermochemistry lab manual. There were no deviations taken from the lab manual.
