Unformatted text preview: Heaton 1 Oil, you may love it or you may hate it, but one thing is for sure we are running out of it and the demand has never been greater. All around the world people are having to change how or where they live in order to compensate for the rising oil prices. Some people are hit harder than others but we all need to find a way to deal with it. Over the last year in my life oil prices have affected going to school, getting a job, and doing a job. Rising oil prices have affected going to school in a lot of ways. I go to school for welding and that is also what I do for work. I live about 30 minutes away from school one way. Lately all I have really been driving is to and from school. Doing this, a tank of gas lasts about a week and costs between 50 and 60 dollars. Oil prices have also affected getting jobs for me.
