Apprehending, trying, and punishing offenders use these components to prevent or deter crime.[ CITATION Hou161 \l 1033 ] Mass incarnation has changed this world in a negative way especially for African American men. They are more likely to be arrested and convicted than white Americans. The United States make up about 5 percent of the world’s population, more than 20 percent in that population is in prison. This issue is more acute among younger African American men. One in 12 black men from the ages of 25-45 are locked up. [ CITATION Placeholder2 \l 1033 ] Once they are incarcerated, they are more likely to get tougher prison sentences. Racial discrimination and exploitation of men of color seems to play a major role in the lack of economic opportunities. To date, the United States has the highest rate of incarnation in the world. In this country, we have a justice system that seems to work for the rich and guilty than the poor and innocent. [CITATION Ste \l 1033 ] When President Trump came into office, he felt that there should be some changes to the justice system. The judicial system is here to protect us from hurt, harm, and danger. We should not I have to constantly remind our sons what to do and what not to do in front of law enforcement. I trust law enforcement. I trust the justice system but, I do agree that but, I do think that social issues with the American Justice System needs work. Societies must place the burden for inappropriate behavior upon the individual so that these issues can be addressed.
