HOMELESS HUMAN SERVICES 2 Homeless Human Services Research Article 1: Homelessness in Australia The article’s main topic is about the issue of homelessness in Australia. It shows that people become homeless due to different factors and circumstances. It also suggests that they experience homelessness differently, and they receive it in different ways. It means that the current experiences that homeless people have increased their knowledge about the issues of homelessness and how human services can chip in to help such people (Chamberlain, Johnson & Robinson, 2014). The article also represents the experiences, hopes and even needs that these homeless individuals want. Homelessness is viewed to differently depending on the people. Most of them define it differently, and they make it real from, other practical, historical and even political contexts. The article is accurate and objective. Various critical themes cutting across the different perspectives of homelessness are looked at in each of the chapters. The main theme of the article is homelessness, and it critically engaged with the people who are homeless in Australia. It also looks at the human services that could be provided to such people (Chamberlain, Johnson & Robinson, 2014). However, before then, it looks at the different issues that homeless people go through, such as trauma and the failure of the housing system as a cause of people’s homelessness. It also looks at the ways that can be used to correct this problem.
