Know the distinction between Delusional Disorder and Schizophenia (no hallucinations, and only non-bizarre delusions). Also know the different types of delusions that can be present. Etiology of Schizophrenia: know the studies that indicate a strong genetic component (know the methods). What is the relationship between dopamine and schizophrenia, and between dopamine and Parkinson’s disease? What do imaging studies show about the brain structure of schizophrenics? What does EE mean, and how does it relate to relapse rates?
