Question 1 Possibly the information about suppliers is less well organized. The system is older than the Customer Relations Management System. The authors of Urbane’s strategic information systems plan must feel that at the moment they are better positioned to manage their customer relationship and therefore they feel a more pressing need to improve the Supply Chain Management System. Their conclusion could be that it’s better to get the products to the customer in a more efficient and timely manner. Question 2 If Urbane waits to build the Customer Relations Management System they may not capture all the customer data and analyze it to help them determine the proper amount of products to produce. They could produce or market the wrong product mix. If they wait they may not see the change in customer product preferences. Question 3
