This opened the door for Chandragopta 321 – 298 b. Chandragopta Maurya i. Came from kingdom Maghada 1. Was a kingdom was north of India ii. Part of the royal family of Maurya iii. He tried to rebel against his own family so he could become king 1. His rebel did not work and he had to flee his kingdom 2. He went west iv. He is in west India when The Great arrived 1. Chand entered one of the armies that fought Alex 2.
