The pump is at the same elevation as the bottom of the tank. When it is delivering 2 ft 3 /sec, the manufacturer requires a NPSH = 35-ft. (a) Prove that the pump is not cavitating and (b) calculate how long it will take before the pump starts to cavitate. . ............................... Ans: t = 2.05 days 5.
