SIGN THE FRONT PAGE. FILL IN THE DOTS CORRESPONDING TO YOUR NAME, SSN, EXAM NUMBER, JHED ID, AND TEST FORM (MARK “A”) ON THE SCANTRON FORM. IMPROPERLY BUBBLED FORMS WILL NOT BE GRADED 2. This exam consists of 12 pages (including this page). IF YOU ARE MISSING A PAGE, LET A PROCTOR KNOW BEFORE THE TEST STARTS. 3. THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT ALLOWED to be present during the test: books, scratch paper, calculators, backpacks, purses etc. If you have any of these items with you, please place them under your chair so they are inaccessible. THIS EXAM IS CLOSED NOTE AND CLOSED BOOK. 4. USE A NON-ERASABLE PEN FOR EVERYTHING BUT THE SCANTRON FORM. Use a #2 pencil for the Scantron form. 5. USE ONLY THE SPACE PROVIDED TO ANSWER QUESTIONS. Do not use the backs of pages, extra pages, etc. (these will NOT be graded). Write legibly; if you can't, please print. 6. YOUR SCANTRON FORM WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO YOU. If you wish to have a record of your answers to the multiple choice questions, it is your responsibility to accurately record them on the main exam form. 7. YOU WILL BE ALLOWED ONE HOUR AND 45 MINUTES FOR THE EXAM . Put down your pen as soon as the proctor announces that the test is over. Your test will be graded 'zero' if you continue to work after this announcement. We do this to give everyone an equal opportunity. 8. The Constitution of the Undergraduate Academic Ethics Board reads, in part: "Students are obligated to refrain from acts which. ..impair the academic integrity of the university. Violations of academic ethics include, but are not limited to: cheating; plagiarism; knowingly furnishing false information. ...All faculty members and teaching assistants are responsible for taking appropriate action. ..in all cases of suspected violations. The following penalties may be imposed on students found guilty. ..failure in the course. ..suspension from the University. ...expulsion." TEST TAKING TIP: There may not be enough time to finish the test. Therefore, look it over and answer the questions you find easiest first, then go back and complete the rest.
