Strong assumes that a democracy should not sanction torture, and that there are certain instances where torture is justified. Strong also gives a definition of torture and of interrogation and he assumes that all people share the same definition. 2. Jonathon D. Strong is a writer for americanthinker.com. 3. Strong provides us with an evaluative claim regarding six new techniques of interrogation and how the United States uses them as well as his account of what he believes is morally correct when handling priosoners. 4. Strong is obviously for the brutal and physical interrogations of detainees, but is against anything making America look bad. 5. Strong reflects on a story aired on ABC news that claims tat the U.S. had once again gone too far in its tactics of interrogation.
