Electronic Community Resource Directory Your electronic directory will make a valuable contribution to your portfolio and be useful in your career.  As part of the final exam you will be asked to decide on appropriate referrals to specific agencies for a  family in a case study using your knowledge of community resources. Collect information about at least 13 public and private agencies, programs, organizations, or  community collaborations that offer services to children and families in the community or urban area  where you currently live or plan to begin your professional career (8 pts.) Research can be conducted  through internet searches, telephone directories, United Way, and referral services. You are expected  to make visits and phone calls in order to have complete information and a resource directory you can  use. Include at least one of each of the following kinds of services: o 1. educational (e.g. literacy)  o 2. nutritional  o 3. medical (e.g. low-income clinics)  o 4. social/recreation  o 5. mental health/counseling  o 6. parent/family life education  o 7. child/family abuse prevention/intervention  o 8. work/economic assistance (e.g. child care resources for low income women)  o 9. substance/alcohol abuse  o 10. senior citizens  o 11. foster care/adoption  o 12. special needs  o 13. immigrant services  Use the template available in the assignment folder on Blackboard as a guide and include:
