435 Syllabus, 16 Sep 09 MEM 435 Introduction to computer aidedDesign and Manufacturing Tentative Syllabus, 16 Sep 09 Course Objectives: This course is intended to provide students with an introduction to a formalized methodology for product development, proficiency in using computer aided design and analysis tools as part of the development process, and an awareness of solid freeform modeling techniques. The course will consist of 1) weekly lectures, 2) weekly laboratories, and 3) an 11 week development of a product and functional prototype.
