Unformatted text preview: Matt Idleman Caroline Wozniacki Caroline Wozniacki was born on July 11, 1990 in Odense, Denmark. Her parents, as well as her brother were very sports-oriented, and pushed Caroline into various sports as early as two years old. Her father and brother have both played on professional soccer teams, while her mother played volleyball for the Polish national team. Caroline started playing tennis at the very young age of seven, and won her first major tournament (the Osaka Mayor's Cup in Japan) at the age of 14. Two years later she won the Junior Championships in Wimbledon. After winning the Junior Championship, Caroline officially turned pro. Since 2006, she has won 6 WTA singles events, and won the title of 2008 WTA Tour Newcomer of the Year. She has also been runner-up six times. She has recently become the youngest singles player to be ranked in the top 10 in the world, with a highest achieved ranking of #5....
