-In the Sarcomere : a) Each sarcomere is bound by a network of interconnecting proteins called Z lines . (anchor thin filaments). b) H zone - contain thick thick filament only Myosin. c) I band - contain thin filament only (Actin+Troponin+Tropomyosin) d) A band - overlap of thick and thin filament. e) M band - has proteins that help hold the myosin filaments in their regular arrangement.

f) Thick Filaments (made up of contractile protein--- Myosin ) g) Thin filaments (made up of contractile protein---- Actin ) and regulatory proteins (NOT contractile) of Troponin and Tropomyosin . h) 3-1 arrangement in Myofibrils 3 thick filaments surrounded by 1 thin or 6-1---1 thick surrounded by 6 thin.
