After a divorce, children experience a time which is called “the crisis period”, this takes place within the year after marriage and usually consists of bitter parents who still haven’t gotten over the divorce, financial difficulty because of the loss of one source of income, and the development of deviant behavior (especially in boys) as a result of the divorce 2. a. Explain how genetics might relate to divorce and its effects. The idea is that something in the parent and child’s genetics makes them prone to the behaviors that develop after a divorce instead of the divorce itself b. What is the evidence supporting the importance of genetic tendencies? What is the evidence against it?
