THE BIBLE: ACTS AND 1 ST JOHN 2 The Bible: Acts and 1 st John There is a message from the Son of God to the people. This message was meant to be passed to the people and it was meaningful. The purpose of the message is to inform people that God is the Light. Secondly, the message was that in God, there is no darkness at all. God is always the light to the people and to the whole world at all times. (1 st John 1:5). A number of people may have fellowship in God while others may be living in darkness. In the same way, there are those people who both fellowships with God as well as live in darkness. In so doing, these people are lying to their word and also to their actions. A person should either be having fellowship with the Lord or choose to live in darkness but not in both. (1 st John 1:6).
