Why I had an abortion The reason 1 had an abortion was because I knew 1 was far too young to have a baby - it was the wrong stage of life. I could have taken care of a baby because teenagers do it all the time. But basically, I didn't want a baby. I wanted to wait until 1 was married so that my husband and t could give our baby all the love and care it needed. I don't think I was ready for all the responsibilities of motherhood.
