Fiedler’s Least Preferred Co-Worker Scale Throughout your life you have probably worked in many groups with a wide variety of different people. These situations could have involved your job environment, social groups, church groups, volunteer groups, athletic teams, or other situations. Some of your co-workers may have been very easy to work with, while others were less so. Think of all the people with whom you have worked, and then think of the person with whom you could work LEAST well. Describe this person on the continuum between the pair of adjectives by placing an “X” in the box between each pair of adjectives you believe best describes that person, disregarding the number. Do this for each pair of adjectives. Then transfer the corresponding number under each “X” to the column on the right. Add the column of numbers for the Total LPC Score.
