Management 200 – Introductory Financial Accounting Krannert School of Management Purdue University Spring 2008 – Exam 2 – Tuesday, March 4, 2008 Elliott Hall of Music – 7:00pm – 9:00pm Please be sure to check the seating chart when it is posted on Katalyst to make sure you know your seat assignment when you arrive at Elliott. Exam 2 will be 90 minutes long and will consist of four workout problems similar in format to exam 1, the homework assignments, and assigned problems. The exam will cover chapters 5, 6, and 7 of the text and related classroom material. It is your responsibility to be familiar with all this material. To help guide your study you should be familiar with: - The financial reporting process, including disclosure requirements and the format of the financial statements - The definition of cash and cash equivalents - The preparation and interpretation of the bank reconciliation statement - The reporting of accounts receivable on the balance sheet - The measurement of bad debt expense using both the percentage of credit sales method
