Management 200 – Introductory Financial Accounting Spring 2008 – Final Exam – Monday, April 28, 2008 Lambert Feildhouse: 1:00pm – 3:00pm The final exam will be 90 minutes long and will consist of four workout problems similar in format to Exams 1, 2, 3, and the homework assignments. The exam will cover chapters 10, 11, 13, and 14 of the text and related classroom material. You should be familiar with: - Bonds payable, including issuance at a premium or discount - The effective interest rate method of amortizing discounts and premiums - The straight-line method of amortizing discounts and premiums - Early retirement of bonds - Accounting for the issuance of common stock - Treasury stock transactions - Cash dividends - Stock dividends and stock splits - The presentation of stockholders’ equity on the balance sheet - The preparation of a statement of cash flows - Operating, investing, and financing cash flows - The indirect method of computing cash flow from operations - Common-size financial statements
