Galbreath (GGG) SYLLABUS - Fall, 2009 (9 /15/09 draft ) We will meet on Tuesdays from 12:20-2:20 in room 277 G81. Class attendance is mandatory. If you must miss a class, you need to contact me with the reason. There is no book for the course. Occasionally, readings will be posted on the BlackBoard website for the course. The website must be checked regularly for assignments and announcements. 1 I will have two formal individual meetings with students, but students are strongly encouraged to meet with me informally at any time I have an opening in my schedule. Grades are based on class attendance and participation, class presentations, weekly journals, work product at placement and judge’s evaluation. The course may be taken for a grade or pass/fail and for 4, 5 or 6 credit hours.
