Nala Crumb Positive Psychology Unit 2 EC Opportunity Happy Film Analysis After watching the film “Happy” I was surprised by some of the information that were presented in this film. It was stated that 50% of our happiness is genetic, circumstances acquire 10%, and intentional activity stands for 40% of our overall happiness. In all honesty, I did not find that hard to believe and I stated this because most of our intentional activities is what plays an important role in our lives and accounts for almost half of our happiness. I stated that I do agree with this finding because things we enjoy doing adds to our contentment in life. I’ve noticed that when I ran track, my life was better than what it is now because that was an activity that I enjoyed. I felt sure of what I was doing and if I was going to go places with that talent of mine. Although our happiness varies throughout our life, we must realize that we are the ones who are in control of our happiness. A father who was interviewed was asked what makes him
