The restaurant is adjacent to the McCord Museum building, which can be seen in the background. Calculation of the snow loads on the roof of Le Caveau building had to be revised in the early 1990s when the McCord Museum building was expanded to include two additional stories and a roof penthouse. Consider the following: The roof plan dimensions of Le Caveau building are 15 m x 6 m.
