Lab Manual Chapter 2 – Muscle Information For the exam, you should be able to identify every muscle on the Cadaver List on both the cadavers and models, as well as their actions (functions). For most muscles on the cadaver list, students are also required to know the attachment points (origin and insertion). This list of attachment points and actions is at the level of detail that you need to know for the exam; you are welcome but not required to learn the longer versions in your textbook. Additionally, there are muscles listed in the Guide to Gross Anatomy (but not on the cadaver list) that you should be able to identify on models.
